SUMMARY:Dr. Dan Cullum – Minimally Invasive Grafting & Implant Reconstruc
 tion: Predictable\, Rewarding & Fun
DESCRIPTION:Daniel R. Cullum DDS\, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon\, Coeur d
 ’Alene\, Idaho\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMinimally Invasive Grafting & Implant Recon
 struction: Predictable\, Rewarding & Fun\n\n\n\nOutline:Minimally Invasive
Techniques - Introduction and EvidenceEnhanced Wound Healing and Up-regulat
ionTunnel grafting - Augmentation and Immediate ImplantsComplications and A
pplications\n\n\n\nSynopsis:This course will teach advanced minimally invas
ive techniques for open wound and tunnel grafting\, enhanced wound healing\
, immediate management of single and multi-rooted extraction sites\, includ
ing the spectrum of anatomic defects encountered in daily practice. Digital
planning and dynamic navigation provide a paradigm shift in predictable im
plant treatment for optimal outcomes. Surgical instrumentation\, selection
of graft materials\, use of Amnion/Chorion and biologics to up regulate wou
nd healing. will also be presented. Participants will learn techniques offe
ring faster healing interval\, stable long term results and minimal discomf
ort. Applications of Cone Beam CT imaging\, anatomic evaluation\, case sele
ction and progressive skill development can avoid potential complications f
or predictable patient centered outcomes.\n\n\n\nLearning Objectives:\n\n\n
\n\n- Identify the role of CBCT diagnosis\, planning and navigation softwar
e as indicators of technique selection\, risk prevention and treatment in p
atient centric care\n\n\n\n- Select surgical open or tunnel graft treatment
options based on anatomy and host factors to enhance outcomes\, reduce tre
atment time and morbidity in management of vertical and horizontal alveolar
deficiencies\n\n\n\n- Understand the anatomic and implant design parameter
s for implant positioning and primary stability to optimize immediate and l
 ong-term success\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEducational Goals:\n\n\n\n- Underst
anding patient centric treatment options are dependent on anatomy\, surgeon
training and host factors\n\n\n\n- Align minimally invasive treatment choi
ces and outcomes with individual patient needs and desires\n\n\n\n- Attende
es to build overlapping and "stackable “skill sets for appropriate applic
ation under varying clinical demands\n\n\n\n- The attendees to develop crit
ical thinking skills\, team treatment and a “life-long” learning proces
 ses for continued growth\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nScientific Evidence:Atieh\,
